Im doing a conjugate heat transfer and im folIowing a yt tutorial, im trying to simulate cross ventilation of a room and expelling heat from the room using this simulation. the 2nd last step was the meshing and it says that my solid and flow region overlaps but I’m just following the youtube tutorial. what’s going on?
Hey nandaru,
I assume you are talking about this project that you mentioned in a duplicate forum thread.
You seem to have figured out how to generate the mesh with a different geometry.
Removing overlap is important between solid objects if you face such an issue again. You can either use fix interferences option to do this automatically, where you would not have control on which object acts as the tool body and which body acts as the target body.
If you use Boolean subtraction, you would have control over which body to use as tool and target.
Let us know if you need further support on this.
Best,
Satvik
