Transient Vibration Analysis with Natural Frequencies

Hi everyone,

Can SimScale perform transient vibration analysis while accounting for natural frequencies? If so, how can I set this up? Any guidance would be helpful!

Hi @sgundu, thanks for posting on the forum

You shouldn’t be able to do that in the same simulation, however you can first run a frequency study (as here) and afte run a dynamic analysis using a time dependent boundary condition to evaluate the response for certain frequencies. Maybe this validation case is useful:
