When using the AMI rotating zones, the rotating region is physically rotated and in each time step the flow variables are interpolated between two contact interfaces - rotating region and stationary region. Hence, it’s extremely important the rotation axis and point on axis is properly defined under the AMI settings.
I can see that currently the rotation axis is defined in positive z direction, although I think it should be in y direction, correct? When the rotating region is rotated with respect to z axis, the contact interpolation can not be performed, then you face this error message.
