Hello, I am trying to simulate the heat inside an electric pump, I have added material and fixed temperature inside.
Could I add an external temperature?
I ran the first one and the result had no temperature difference inside the model, could anyone happen to know why?
Thank you everyone
Hi @beatricefontan,
Thanks for posting your question. Could you please drop the project link here?
best,
Thank you all
Hello @beatricefontan , and apologies for the delay here.
To answer your question, better late than never :), it’s possible to define a convective heat flux boundary condition that will mimic an external ambient air as follows in Heat Transfer simulations:
You can alternatively go with one of the Conjugate Heat Transfer simulations, where you’ll be able to perform fluid - solid coupled simulations too.
Please let us know if you have any other questions; we’d be happy to help you further.
Best wishes, Kaan
