Sheet Bodies Detected

I have a problem with my project, it says that it has detected sheet bodies, but I have no idea where in my stl file the problem is, can somebody try to solve it for me? I actually have no idea. I uploaded the file here, if you want to help me: [Deleted]

Hi again, I have a couple of questions:

  1. What CAD software are you using?
  2. Is it possible that you export your model to Prasolid, or STEP? STL is not recommended for this type of analysis( only for LBM projects). :slight_smile:

  1. I didn’t do the CAD, but Solid Edge was used.
  2. I dont know yet, but I’ll answer again, when I know. What is a LBM Project? I thought I read somewhere, that STL was good for CFD/Aerodynamics Analysis

Edit: I CAN use STEP, im trying it today

Update: the Parasolid import was successful :muscle:

LBM is a different solver, if your want to know more, have a look here: Incompressible Lattice Boltzmann Method | Advanced | SimScale

For the regular Incompressible analysis, prefer to use Parasolid and STEP :slight_smile:
