New to SimScale - How to download results for visualization

It seems that I must download the results data and use paraview locally to examine the results.

I’ve run my own simulation and tried to download the results but have a cross through a red circle indicating that I can’t download the results file.

I’ve copied the flow around a football simulation and the same problem occurs. I can’t download the data.

Can someone help me understand what I’m missing?

Hi @odonnellhj!

The usual procedure is to click on the run and use the download option at the top.

If you already tried that but it still does not work please contact me I will upload the results on Google Drive for you until I have identified the cause of this issue.

hello
I know this is very old conversation but I also have a problem. when downloading the results a file named U is downloaded which cannot be opened under any circumstances.

Hi @gsakkadas2 - you’d need to open (for CFD let’s say) the case.foam file using a 3rd Party post-processing tool. Internally we use ParaView.
