My fluide is going in the wrong sens!

Hello everyone, I am a young french guy who just started.

I’m trying to model the aerodynamic resistance on a 3d model that I drew, but I have a big problem, my fluid (air) is moving in the opposite direction!

I have tried reversing the exit and entry faces, giving a negative speed to my displacement speed but none of these solutions work, do you have any advice?

I’m following this tutorial with my own 3D model :

and here is my current result, as if the car was going backwards which is rather uninteresting

Hello pbainier,
thanks for reaching out to us here in the forum.

Can you please share a link to your project with us so that we can have a look at it ?

Best regards

Please just compy and past the URL of the project here in the Forum

hi please not that the values you enter for the velocity components are considered in the positive axis. You can see the direction of the axis in the bottom right corner.

So for this case the right setup would be.

Surface 1 as velocity inlet with -20 m/s in the x direction.
Surface 2 as pressure outlet.

Also please make sure to enter -20 m/s for the road aswell.

Best regards
Sebastian
