Trying to simulate an experiment whereby I can calculate the mass fraction of air that is released from a water flow induced into a vortex. I am trying to set the simulation up using multiphase but I’ll be honest I have no idea what I’m doing.
I have all the correct temperature, Mass flow, inlet pressure etc but I just can’t get a good result to show.

Thanks for posting on the forum.
Please note that you cannot simulate phase change in SimScale as of yet. A multiphase simulation is used to simulate the time-dependent behavior of two incompressible, isothermal, immiscible fluid mixtures using the VOF (Volume of Fluid) method.
You can also refer to this tutorial to take a look at the capabilities of the multiphase simulation.
