MRF in Convective Heat Transfer Simulation

Hi everyone,

I want to execute CFD and thermal investigation of the flow that is generated in a room by a fan.
This is the project link: SimScale

Unfortunately, as I can see MRF method is not available in Convective Heat Transfer Simulations.

So the only way to get velocity and temperature fields in this case is to make a Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis, right?

Hello @miltos980,

Rotating zones are supported in a convective heat transfer, as long as there is no radiation. So if you are not expecting very high temperatures in the domain, I’d generally recommend turning radiation off (which will allow you to use rotating zones).
