Hi,
I am trying to simulate a thermal comfort analysis, can any have idea how to mentioned the latent load of occupants in Simscale.
Thanks

Hi,
Latent load is related to phase change (which is not the case for occupants). Do you mean sensible heat instead?
For thermal comfort simulations you normally do not simulate occupants as an explicit solid part, but instead you only have the negative representation of the occupants. See this tutorial for the usual approach.
If you want to define properties for the occupants as well, you would simply not delete the occupants after generating a flow region, which would allow you to define them as “solid” materials with a conjugate heat transfer v2.0 study. This is, again, not a common approach.
Cheers
Thanks for the reply, latent load of occupants usually contribute to relative humidity variation inside the space.
You should be able to solve for humidity with a conjugate heat transfer v2.0 analysis type, however the humidity aspect is currently not linked to the energy equation.
You may have humidity playing a role in predicted mean vote and predicted percentage of dissatisfied values, though. That would be a thermal comfort parameter result control, as the tutorial that I linked previously goes through.
Cheers
