Interpreting the Bulk Calculator

Hi,

I used the bulk calculator to measure a volumetric flow rate, and the value came back negative. What does this mean?

The interpretation is pretty straightforward: when the vectors are pointing OUT of the flow domain, the volumetric flow rate is negative:

If you invert the orientation of the cutting plane (so that the vectors are pointing IN), now the volumetric flow rate will show as a positive number:
