Importing CAD Assembly

Hi everyone,

As a simple FEA experiment i would like to analyze a gear assembly. To do this i have created an assembly in
(Creo) an exported it as .sldasm. As the assembly was created from 2 different parts, so I created the .zip folder containing both the part file and assembly. And when i tried to import the file an error msg is reflecting : “The file could not be imported as valid geometry based on the provided geometry format. Please try to export a different format or contact our support for assistance.
Error Code: b5028e31”

Thanks for posting your question! Please try to import the assembly as .sldasm without the zip folder, directly the assembly, and then let me know if this works. If this doesn’t help you, please share the file with me to give give me a try.
