In contrast to the LBM analysis type, the rest of the CFD solvers in the SimScale platform do not include a dedicated option for a uniform velocity profile, to be used as the inlet of the flow domain.
However, you can still create a uniform profile on a face. Even if you add only a series of points for a single profile at the middle of the face, the profile will be added globally through interpolation.
In this project, the profile is distributed across the Z axis , whereas the ‘X’ value remains constant at ‘-0.22 m’ as the face is normal to the X axis .
