How to show average temperature of fluid volume?

Hi,

I’m new to SimScale and just finished my first conjugate heat transfer simulation. I’m looking to export the average temperature of my entire fluid volume. How can this be done?

I’m also hoping to export the average heat transfer coefficient. Is this possible?

Hi @dafna, thanks for posting on the forum and welcome to the SimScale Community

To have this in an automatic fashion, I guess a third party post-processing tool (such as ParaView) would be the way to go at the moment.

However, if retrieving these values manually would be good enough, you could use the statistics filter to retrieve the volumetric maximum/minimum parameters within your results:

In regards to retrieving the average heat transfer coefficient, you’d need to set it as an additional field result (take a look here).
