Flow velocity in mm/s

Hi,
I’m running simulations on very slow moving flows. When I set up the boundary conditions I can set the flow rate in all kinds of units, including mm/s, which is what I need.
However, in the results, I can only choose m/s, km/h, miles/hour (whatever that is), knots, feet per second, and inches per second. Apart from m/s, none of these make the slightest sense for engineering results. And mm/s, while not SI, is pretty well-understood for slow flows.
Why is mm/s not an output option, particularly as it is an input option?
I can read scientific notation, but when I screenshot the result for non-engineers, they can’t. So I have to go over everything in image editing software and change the results to mm/s, which is a pain.
How easy would it be to add mm/s to the dropdown?
mm per s
Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

While this unit is not available in the post-processor, I’d suggest using the field calculator tool to convert the units: Field Calculator Filter | Knowledge Base | SimScale

Cheers

Hi,
I had a couple of false starts with the Field Calculator, but it’s working well now - thank you!
