FEA of a Honeycomb Structure

I am trying to complete FEA of an aluminium honeycomb. Is there a way for me to change the mesh size for just one object.

Also how do I set the boundary condtions to have an impact of 7m/s.

I have been through the tutorial and cannot find how to do this.

Hi @u2060421,

Thanks for posting your question. To change the mesh size for just one part/object you can simply add a refinement, for example local element size, and then select the desired faces of the object. This page shows how you can do this with more details.
About the impact velocity, it should be possible by going to Initial Conditions → Velocity → Subdomain (+) → Select all faces which will be in this velocity, and set the velocity magnitude [7 m/s] corresponding to the correct cartesian direction.
