Hi,
I wish to examine the mesh nodes and elements in data format from the generated mesh. For example, export to a data file.
This is particularly important, as my interest would be more on the mesh that the simulation result.
Is this possible within SimScale? If so, what are the steps?

You are able to download the Mesh as a .med file.
