Error with Simulation Run and not sure what's wrong

Hello,

I am a beginner in aerodynamics and using CFD simulation and currently learning how to use it along with all these new concepts.

I am currently attempting a simulation run of a horizontal stabiliser and using similar settings to this tutorial:. Compressible Flow Around a Wing | Tutorial | SimScale

I have meshed with various settings with meshing, checked the boundary conditions, and also tried reducing the velocity from 250m/s (which is the estimated speed of an A320 at cruising). to 110 but to no vail. It comes up with this error:

"Maximum number of iterations exceeded when calculating temperature from a thermodynamic potential. This may be caused by low-quality mesh producing unrealistic pressure in a few cells or inappropriate boundary conditions, fluid properties or time step. Inspect fields for large values in the last time step. "

Not able to share a link due to the project’s settings/my license, but I have checked the ‘Share to Support Team’ checkbox. This might be a stupid error/parameter that I set kind of situation, so sorry in advance. Would love it if someone could help out/give me some guidance on this!

Hi @nivurek, thanks for posting on the forum and welcome to the SimScale Community :handshake:

It’s a bit difficult to learn what the problem is without having access to the project - if you share it with support and paste the URL here, we from the Support group at SimScale will be able to access it.

I’ve found an article that might be interesting and provides some alternatives on what might be happening:

Let us know if it helps!

Cheers
