Airflow in room - heating radiator

https://ctrlv.cz/CHWs

Hi. I need help with the simulation. I wanted to simulate the air flow in the room - 2 pipes will be the air supply. 1 pipe will be the pressure out.

I made the internal air volume and then removed the walls, the floor … and I was left with only the “wall” that I would like to use as a radiator … and the pipes that I connected using booning. But now I don’t know what to do with the heating. If I don’t connect it to the air model, it says that the simulation is not possible. Honestly, I don’t know what to do with the heating to make it work. For example, set it to 50 degrees and have it affect the air flow in the room. Thank you

Hi @Luksajetop10, thanks for sharing

You have 2 options:

  1. You can model the radiator then exclude it from the flow region and assign it’s walls with a heat source
  2. Model the radiator and set it as an advanced concept power source, in this scenario you can have it interfering with the flow region

Here is a video explanation of both approaches.

Cheers!
