I am currently beginning to use Simscale to make a wind study for my architecture diploma project.
I used a 3D model made on Archicad, converted into a Rhino model, but as I put it on Simscale I was told there were several “faulty meshes” and my model could not be used for simulation.
As I don’t know how to use Simscale at all, it would really help me to get advices on how to handle this problem.
I thank you in advance if you help me in any way !
Architectural models may not be the best option for simulations, as they often present several faults, as you’re currently experiencing.
I would recommend utilizing the Simplify operation within the CAD mode to convert your parts into geometry primitives as much as possible. If this doesn’t work, these models are typically in facet form and may need to be regenerated as polysurfaces in your own CAD software.
If you could share a link to your project, I may be able to provide further insights.
