This standard makes use of special quantities such as PMV and PPD, which can be computed as a field and visualized in post-processing. This type of information gives a powerful overview of the required modifications to the design in terms of occupant comfort and exemplifies why CFD data can be so useful for designing HVAC systems for building design.
