Accelerate Decarbonization: AI-Driven Solutions for Heat Networks and Data Centers
Watch this webinar for a deep dive into cutting-edge strategies to reduce carbon emissions. Industry experts from Joel Gustafsson Engineers and Element Design share their insights on leveraging AI-powered design tools, like SimScale, to revolutionize urban heat networks and data centers.
Co-founder and CEO
David Heiny is committed to empowering every engineer to innovate faster by making high-fidelity engineering simulation truly accessible. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and CSE from Georgia Tech and Technical University Munich.
Director
Joel has over 13 years of experience in environmental design, energy strategy development, and mechanical and electrical engineering. He is based in Cambridge and has worked across a range of sectors. Many of his projects have set important precedents that support reducing the environmental impact of the built environment. Joel was previously Principal Engineer at Max Fordham LLP and holds a PhD. in Atmospheric Chemistry from The University of Cambridge.
Founder and Design Lead
Sam Bromley, Founder and Design Director at Element Design, has expertise in simulating air source heat pumps (ASHP) in city centers and has worked on large-scale projects in London and beyond where ASHP has been placed on rooftops and car parks. He has extensive experience in data center design and delivering geometrically complex DfMA and offsite productized solutions to tier-1 contractors in the Architectural, engineering, and construction industries.
SimScale is the world’s first cloud-native SaaS engineering simulation platform, giving engineers and designers immediate access to digital prototyping early in the design stage, throughout the entire R&D cycle, and across the entire enterprise. By providing instant access to a single fluid, thermal, and structural simulation tool built on the latest cloud computing technology, SimScale has moved high-fidelity physics simulation technology from a complex and cost-prohibitive desktop application to a user-friendly web application, accessible to any designer and engineer in the world.
