ON-DEMAND WEBINAR
Thermal Optimization of Forced Convection Cooling for Battery Packs
This thermal optimization study focuses on the results of a battery cooling design. The variation of temperature over 41 cells and the parameters that influence the temperature of the batteries the most are investigated. This is accomplished by performing a DoE study by harnessing the power of the cloud.
Additionally, this webinar will showcase our high-performing conjugate heat transfer solver which was particularly adapted for electronics cooling applications, and end with a Q&A session for any additional queries not covered in the session.

Matt Bemis is an Application Engineer at SimScale, responsible for leading and presenting all technical aspects of the sales cycle in North America. He is well versed in modeling electronics cooling, turbomachinery, external aerodynamics, automotive, and biomedical applications. Before joining SimScale, Matt did product support and consulting at several other CAE software providers.
“We are really impressed with the SimScale platform. Thanks to the platform’s ease of use, the professional support of SimScale engineers and the perfect communication with them, we were able to efficiently perform simulations and sort out our design problems. It’s hard to imagine how much physical prototyping time and measures we saved thanks to virtual prototyping.”
“When I started with SimScale, I knew from my previous experience how simulations are structured and work, but I had forgotten some details over the years. The great tutorials, documentation, and personal conversations with support have brought me up to date within 2 months of using SimScale. I am now well versed and use SimScale even with smaller problems to confirm my pre-calculations and to quickly compare design studies.”
SimScale is the world’s first production-ready SaaS application for engineering simulation! We dream of a future where engineers are able to optimize their designs better and faster.
