Project Goal: learn how to create a duct work

This project's aim is to compare the cooling performance of 2 data center designs: Cold Aisle Containment and Hot Aisle Containment

Each rack generates 12kW of thermal power and there are 3 computer room air conditioning  (CRAC) units cooling down the air.

This project aims at evaluating how much air from the exhaust of a building AHU reaches the balconies and windows of its facade, as well as the other surrounding buildings.  Multiple wind direction scenarios are evaluated.
The CAD model includes a detailed, central building with balconies and windows, from where the exhaust air is released. The surrounding building are modeled as simple blocks.
This project uses incompressible analyses with passive scalars. The use of passive scalar is to model the concentration of air exhaust at any location.

In this project, I will conduct analysis on similar configurations of a residential building in Winter. This project shows a simple HVAC study of a one-story shopping center hall. The simulation aims to evaluate the power requirements and distribution around the hall in order to maintain both indoor air quality and thermal comfort of the occupants.
