Design a simple Radiator Airbox to improve airflow in engine bay.  Initial simulations will be ductwork modes.  Later may include full body flow to see turbulence from changes.

HVAC duct work for parents new home build

I am making an HVAC blueprint for a house for my school project.

Goal of the project is to calculate pressure drop in a 3D Rectangular Channel with multiple 90 degree bends in which water is flowing with the Reynolds number of 51000. 
Further goal is  to optimize the pressure drop by adding vanes at the 90 degree channel bends.
The type of simulation is steady incompressible turbulent flow. 
5 times the hydraulic diameter extension is given as extension at the inlet in order to develop the flow and same extension is given after the real outlet in order to eliminate the impact of boundary condition on the domain of interest.

First proyect on this plataform. This one is for learning how to create and object and make it work.

Buried a pair of 250gal. water jugs connected in the middle. using in-line fans as AH, calculating air flow requirements for most efficient system (with limited materials and low budget)

The project goal was to find the best airflow around the operation theatre with a different Duct model.
so to achieve this goal, the duct was simulated with incompressible flow simulation type and then operation room was simulated with convection heat transfer simulation type.
At the end, The results of both duct design were compared and find the optimum duct design with respect to the operation room.

Problem with turning and reduction in duct

This project aims to obtain the airflow inside two design alternatives for an HVAC system of a theater room. Convective heat transfer simulation is used to obtain the flow pattern inside the room. Thermal comfort parameters such as PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied) are obtained along with the mean age of fluid.

The objective of this simulation is to become familiar with the fan-based Boundary Conditions implemented in SimScale. 
These Boundary Conditions create a  pressure drop on the face applied. This pressure drop depends on the flux going in/out through the surface, and they are related following the charasteristic curve of the fan.

Using this Boundary Conditions, different types of fans can be simulated behind the surfaces, and their effects on the different ducts can be estimated.
