The purpose of this project is to study the influence of different types of winglets placed at the end of a commercial aircraft wing during takeoff. The flow will be considered incompressible and turbulent (kw-sst). The aerodynamic characteristics of the flow (lift, drag, eddies, etc.) will be determined.

Project dedicated to understanding the  aerodynamics of a relatively modern road-going hatchback and  ways of improving them.  Self-made model means the results are unlikely to be highly accurate.

The project currently is more about learning about simscale, than immediate results analysis.

This project was aimed at simulating the external velocity field around a golf ball. An interesting flow field is seen in comparison with spherical balls used in any other game/sport due to the presence of dimples. 

A golf ball with dimples can travel almost twice as far as a smooth golf ball. The dimples minimize drag forces that pull back on the ball or slow it down. It also help lift the ball by forcing airflow downward, which pushes the ball upward (principles similar to the aerodynamics of an aircraft).

The golf ball may experience a spin during its travel. Hence it could be assumed an external flow, with a spin imparted to the ball. This could be used to analyse the flow field around the ball.
