In this Project we Simulate an Exhaust Manifold using CHTV2.0 Simscale solver 

The goal is this project is to understand the Heat transfer between the exhaust gases and the manifold, Thermal stresses on it as well as heat transfer coefficient accuracy & predictions. We evaluate areas of higher velocity and temperature variation and perform more detailed analysis on it to find out what kind of condition to expect at the outlet of the exhaust, how to improve its performance and much more !

CHT Simulation of a flow through pipe.  Gasoline is transported through pipes among other ways. In this simulation the low temperature gasoline is being transported through a pipe of higher temperature found generally at sunny areas outside city limits reaching up-to 55 deg. We simulate how the gasoline temperature varies under such conditions. The fluid property change under varied thermal loads can vary & hence its important to simulate it before we manufacture. Pipes are used throughout the world for transporting N number of products & hence even though appears basic, proper analysis is highly profitable in the longer run for the life of material & fluid product.

Here I'm going to use conjugate heat transfer to simulate the  heat flow between strips of Nichrome  80/20 and a 300x300x3mm aluminum sheet and then calculate the convection heat transfer from the Al sheet to the air.

Conjugate Heat transfer Analysis on the manifold located upstream of the ramjet fuel injector is performed using SimScale CHT V2.0 Solver. The flow field of the hot fuel JP-7 flowing through the manifold is simulated and the wall temperature of the manifold is computed. This experiment essentially duplicates the conditions of a regeneratively fuel cooled hypersonic ramjet engine flow path of heat sink construction to simulate the actual conditions the engine would be operated at by using a facility fuel heater. In order to match these conditions correctly, a detailed thermal analysis on upstream fuel delivery components(manifold) is required.

Conjugate heat transfer is a behavioural analysis where convective (transfer between fluid) and conductive (transfer between solids) heat transfer takes place in a system. This combination of heat transfer has forced or natural convection where fluid is dominated by convection and solid is dominated by conduction.

To determine the hot spots and Heat transfer co-efficient at different velocities

This project is do a analysis on the temperature versus time when a PCB Copper bar (exposed to the air) is subjected to a 34.9 amp current that produces 0.008185 Watts within the piece.

Server rooms house sensitive hardware that can be damaged easily if exposed to extreme temperatures. So, the aim of this project is to find out the heat transfer in that room for material air. For heat transfer I did Conjugate Heat Transfer simulation analysis which tells us about the heat transfer between fluid air and the solid material of the server room.
So, from this project we can optimize the ventilation system design for server room in future planning.
