Webinar Project- Carotid Artery Bifurcation
The project simulates the flow of blood as a non-newtonian fluid through a realistic Carotid Artery Bifurcation. Simulation are performed for 3 cases- of a healthy blood vessel  with no calcification or blockage and through an moderately and severely calcified or blocked blood vessel. 
The results show the differences in pressure, velocity profile and the outlet flow  through the 2 branches.

Flow conditions are based on a paper: STUDY OF BLOOD FLOW IN A BIFURCATION WITH A STENOSIS,

This project focus on the stress analysis of two different models of cardiovascular stent using two different materials - 316 LN Stainless Steel and L605 Co-Cr.

This project shows how to run a static stress analysis of a hip joint prosthesis, which is used to replace damaged joints and allow more than 180,000 people each year to regain their mobility and therefore improve the quality of life.
