Methane gas is a hazard in underground coal mining. It enters the mine
ventilation system from tbe breakup of coal or from the face. This can lead to a explosion and injury to miners.  This simulations aims to study the distribustion of methane concentration in a mining area and results are compared with a experimentals.

Separation of flow in a T section is studied. Flow is assumed to be incompressible, turbulent.

The cooling mechanism is very crucial to ensure the rated performance of CPU, at the same time it accounts for the major operating cost of the system. Therefore, an efficient electronics cooling is necessary to provide the continuous operations at low operating costs. Tools of computational Fluid Dynamics are widely being used to optimize the cooling mechanism of the chips. In this study the focus is on finding the optimum heat sink design for electronics cooling.

Front Wing is designed and a simulation is done for comparision with the earlier model.

Pole vaulting is one of the most spectacular disciplines in athletics. The evolution of world record heights is strongly influenced by the development of advanced poles and subsequent materials. Employing advanced, load-adjusted composites has resulted in a steady increase of the world record height. This study provides a framework for finite element simulations of pole vaulting with focus on the initial and boundary conditions as well as finite element choices. The influence of the pole bending stiffness on the achievable height is systematically simulated. Higher effective bending stiffness leads to higher pole vaulting heights. However, if a certain stiffness is exceeded, the vaulter will not be able to bend the pole enough which leads to failed attempts.

Goal of this project is to compare the results of two different Turbulence models e.g. k-epsilon and SST k-omega with experimental results.

Webinar Project- Carotid Artery Bifurcation
The project simulates the flow of blood as a non-newtonian fluid through a realistic Carotid Artery Bifurcation. Simulation are performed for 3 cases- of a healthy blood vessel  with no calcification or blockage and through an moderately and severely calcified or blocked blood vessel. 
The results show the differences in pressure, velocity profile and the outlet flow  through the 2 branches.
