Incompressible Fluid Flow analysis of two globe valves

In this exercise, you will perform a simple heat transfer analysis on the SimScale Platform and then compare the results to a hand-calculated solution.

In this exercise, you will use linear static analysis to analyze several configurations of an aircraft engine bracket under a vertical load.

In this exercise, we will consider the deflection of a cantilever beam with a concentrated load at the free end. We can calculate the deflection by hand and via a static analysis using the SimScale platform.

More number of fluids interaction is multiphse flow . courant number greatly influence the stability, convergence , time step . High courant number speeds up the simulation convergence but can lead to instability . Lower courant number enhances stabiity . by selecting the correct courant number we decrease the computational time and we get stability.  

courant number directly proportional to local velocity in centre of the cell and time step . Inversely proportional to length of cell in fluid direction.

How we can divide the domain into more number of cells , integration , linear equation system and finally solving by using different solvers . to find residual , relaxation factors , various numerrical schemes detrermine the stability and convergence rate .

By changing the values of relaxation factor the execution time and clock time is varied. in this project run the simulation by various relaxation factor , GAMG , PCG , Smooth solvers .we get differnt results. at certain value of relaxation factor it diverges and some it will give good results of convergence rate .

To  predict the boundary layer distance from the wall by meshing with layer and without layer of an airfoil. Hex domimamt  parametric is used for mesh. and adding the region , surface refinements to get the accuarate results.  simulation is incompressible , steady state , K-Omega SST Is used. First we run the solution for mesh without layer and postproessing the result Then run the simulation for mesh with layer. compare the results for two simuation . one which is layer gives good result.
