what happens when 2 parts in an assy are tried

simpler model to see how constraints work

not sure if by changing the loads from run1 to run 2 in previous sim was the right way to do it, so setting up another sim

just to understand the simscale setup in applying these different load regimes

Same as Connector-4 project, but saved as a solid IGS as opposed to surfaces

Modifying CAD model to achieve correct constraints

randomly added some material to connector 10 to see if I can observe different stress

see shaft 2.  Made shaft smaller to make sure i can see smaller stresses

See shaft 1.  Model improved to be more solid

back to basic.  comparing same model with different constraint selections and different load points.
This one has (almost) point load instead of UDL and is held on faces parallel to axis

Looking at the strain on a bush as a result of interference fit

reference part.  uploaded as a solid not a shell

learning progress.  Changed model to make picking constraints easier

Have re-familiarised the software via connector 9 project.
Now trying to see if I can get any meaningful numbers
