F1 Front Wing Geometry for Frontwing Tutorial

This tutorial shows how an incompressible turbulent airflow around a Formula Student vehicle moving in a straight line can be simulated.

Tutorial on incompressible flow simulation for aerodynamics studies, using SimScale Standard mesh algorighm.

The project illustrates how to simulate airflow around a complex F1 vehicle. Incompressible flow simulation type is chosen to simulate the flow pattern around the vehicle. Main outputs of the simulation are pressure distribution around the lifting surfaces of the vehicle, aerodynamic flow coefficients and velocity streamlines. - Copy
