Flow analysis of an automotive carburetor

Webinar Project- Carotid Artery Bifurcation
The project simulates the flow of blood as a non-newtonian fluid through a realistic Carotid Artery Bifurcation. Simulation are performed for 3 cases- of a healthy blood vessel  with no calcification or blockage and through an moderately and severely calcified or blocked blood vessel. 
The results show the differences in pressure, velocity profile and the outlet flow  through the 2 branches.

The aim of this project is to investigate and optimize the flow pattern by minor modifications in the conventional design of an Air Intake System in order to improve the pressure loss and flow characteristics.
