Sheet Metal Box Deflection and Stress Analysis

About this project

This is an example of analyzing a sheet metal box in simscale. Ideally we would like to use Shell elements but it can be done with Solid elements as well. In this example we look at the effects of a sheet metal with and without ribs as well as validating the accuracy of the model. Please see the Comments Section for more details on this Analysis.
