Testing different physical designs of a building to see how physical properties affect the efficiency of heating by forced air circulation

Computation of the thermal comfort including Local Mean Age of Air and radiation in a meeting room using CFD simulation.

In this project, I will conduct analysis on similar configurations of a residential building in Winter. The goal is to pick on trends or changes that occur with change in physical properties in the system like number of air vents, location of the vents and air flow rates. SimScale's Thermal Comfort documentation and tools which are based on ASHRAE 55 will used to establish improvements in system performance.

Test the heat flow through a 12x8x8ft room

This project focuses on observing heat flow through a set volume. We will attempt to vary certain parameters and observe the changes in heat distribution. SimScale's Conjugate Heat Transfer Simulation will be used in the is project.

This tutorial contains a thermal comfort project, which analyses the duct positioning inside a theater, in order to have an effective ventilation system.
