About this project

The goal of the project is a personal interest in strength calculations. Participation in the competition for the development of mental abilities. Static simulation When it comes to safety of an aircraft, one of the most critical parameters is the weight of your components. In this competition we will have a look at the wing ribs made out of aluminium. The design objective is to reduce the weight of the wing without exceeding a maxiumum allowable deflection. This competition should not only challenge you to work on your FEM expertise but also have fun and exchange ideas with other participants in the comment section.
