What is your role? What do you do?
I am the Design Director overseeing user experience design, user research, and brand at SimScale. I ensure that experiences are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. I communicate the design team’s strategy and creative vision to stakeholders. Furthermore, I oversee the entire design process and key technical decisions.
What brought you to SimScale?
I was truly captivated by the product. During my time studying Design at the Fine Art Academy of Verona, I relied on Rhino 3D for my industrial design and landscape projects. I vividly recall spending hours on rendering. However, discovering SimScale, where model creation, editing, and simulation are effortlessly fast, left me mesmerized. Instantly, I knew I wanted to be part of this, to contribute and enhance this remarkable experience.
What do people value about you?
I hear that people appreciate my methodical problem-solving approach, finding value in its structure and reliability. My work is more than just tasks; it’s a genuine passion to create meaningful outcomes. The idea of being seen as a role model is humbling and I simply aim to lead by example, hoping to positively influence others through dedication and a willingness to go the extra mile. It’s not just about solving problems; it’s a personal commitment to contribute meaningfully and inspire excellence.

What is your role? What do you do?
I’m the Sales Development Representative for inbound leads. I qualify the inbound leads through a strategic framework and schedule meetings for the Account managers and Application Engineers to initiate discussions and potentially create opportunities with those prospective customers.
What is your background?
I have mostly worked in the sales department within the financial sector previously in Canada and switched careers to the SaaS industry when I moved to Germany. I was working as a freelancer as a business development specialist, then eventually applied to a full-time position as an SDR at SimScale and got hired in 2022.
What brought you to SimScale?
I was quite impressed with the platform and the fact that it’s serving various industries with the goal of improving design. The overall engineering process seemed like not only educational but also a challenging sales development opportunity for me to expand my career, which is exactly what I was looking for.
What are you proud of?
I’m proud of being a part of our Sales Team and mainly proud of initiating opportunities for my team that eventually lead to closing deals and bringing in new customers. At SimScale, we have quite a team-oriented working environment, which really motivates me to work on improving my communication strategies. Although I’m only responsible for the initial stage of the sales cycle with each prospective customer, converting those prospects into customers highly depends on my qualification strategies.

What is your role? What do you do?
I work as a Junior Digital Marketer in the Marketing Department. I mainly help the team promote webinars through email marketing and social media. Furthermore, I also send our monthly newsletter and update webinar-related web pages through WordPress.
What is your background?
I’m originally from Iran, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. After graduating, I spent three years working and diving into my interests which helped me discover my interest in marketing. The idea of living in another country has always been with me, and Germany, with its excellent education system and my now-husband living here since 2020, seemed like the perfect place to be. So, in 2021, I made the move to pursue my master’s in International Management and Marketing here. It’s been an amazing journey ever since!
What brought you to SimScale?
After working in the healthcare industry as a marketer, I wanted a change to a fast-paced and more innovative industry where I could gain experience in digital marketing, so I started looking for new opportunities in tech. That’s when I found SimScale. I did a bit of digging and liked what I saw — a great company culture and a unique product that was unknown to me. It felt like a chance to learn and grow in a new field, so I decided to go for it!

What is your role? What do you do?
I have just recently transitioned from Sales Development Representative to Account Executive. I am now not only identifying the needs and help that we can give to our future customers but also guiding them through the buying process, helping them at every step and building confidence that they can trust in us. We have such a great reputation for how we support our customers that I want to ensure they have it when they’re on their journey to becoming one. It’s also very exciting to know that I will close deals and increase business for SimScale!
What are you proud of?
I’m proud to be recognized for my work and be promoted to Account Executive after 7 months. My manager has paid attention to my determination to understand our sales processes and my willingness to make improvements and share them with the team. I think it’s important to be recognized for the work that you put in and SimScale is really great at that.
What is your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge right now is to learn as much as I can about the technical side of SimScale, which doesn’t come naturally to me as I don’t have an engineering background. I have confidence that I will as there are so many helpful colleagues who are willing to support me and a lot of material available.
Thank you very much for sharing your SimScale journey with us; it is a pleasure to have you here. Let us all pledge to uplift, support, and amplify the voices of women everywhere.
