    Who is the People Team?

    The People Team is the backbone of our company, ensuring that SimScale is not just a place to work but a place to grow, learn, and thrive. The team is responsible for a wide range of functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, professional development, people operations, and workplace culture. They are the ones who shape the employee experience from the moment a new colleague walks through our virtual or physical doors.

    The People Team operates across several key areas, each crucial to building and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Here’s a closer look at the primary areas of focus:

    1. Talent Acquisition

    The Talent Acquisition team is dedicated to identifying, recruiting, and onboarding individuals who not only have the right skills but also align with SimScale’s values and culture. By focusing on finding the best fit for both the role and the company, they help build teams that are collaborative, innovative, and driven to help achieve our mission – a future where engineers can optimize their designs better and faster!

    2. Employee Engagement and Workplace Culture

    A positive workplace culture and engaged employees are the cornerstones of any forward thinking and thriving organization. Focusing on employee wellbeing, engagement and retention enables employees to feel supported, connected, motivated and therefore engaged. We place a strong emphasis on mental wellness, which is why we conduct regular check-in calls with all of our employees. These calls provide a confidential space where team members can openly discuss any concerns or challenges they may be facing.

    For the collective, we host an annual Summit where the whole SimScale team finds a great opportunity to connect. Aside from that, our team can enjoy hybrid team-building activities ranging from sporting activities to lucky dinners. We want to ensure that SimScale is a place where everyone feels valued and inspired, contributing to both personal satisfaction and professional success.
